Overview

Welcome to the Usona Institute, we are a medical research organization dedicated to supporting and conducting basic, pre-clinical and clinical research to further the scientific understanding and therapeutic application of consciousness-expanding medicines.

Our campus, nestled in the natural beauty of the Midwest Prairies, is designed to nurture a profound connection with nature, self, and the world, supporting the deep work that takes place with the use of psychedelic medicines and practices. It serves as a hub for training, facilitation, and research in the expanding field of psychedelic-assisted therapies. We offer well-equipped facilities, providing an ideal setting for organizations to conduct education programs and workshops in this specialized area of study. Our innovative and personalized therapy rooms, along with group therapy spaces, including our hydrotherapy center, provide a diverse range of therapeutic experiences for our visitors and researchers.

Training and Education Facilities

Our training facilities are designed to accommodate 70+ attendees, providing a conducive environment for immersive learning and collaboration. Our facilities include large and small conference rooms equipped with technology and furnishings to accommodate a wide range of interactive training capabilities.

Wellness Services

In addition to the state-of-the-art training facilities, the campus also offers serene spa services, including an elegantly crafted hydrotherapy center, body work, and other services. These spaces provide a tranquil escape, further enhancing the therapeutic journey. Additionally, our facilities include individual therapy rooms and group therapy spaces, where attendees can immerse themselves in unique therapeutic experiences.

Guest Houses

Experience comfort and convenience in our campus guest houses. We offer three beautifully designed guest houses, two of which are ready to welcome you. Each of these finished houses boasts two cozy bedrooms, one on each floor, complemented by a full bath for your convenience. These guest houses are thoughtfully equipped with essential amenities to ensure a pleasant stay. Featuring a fully-equipped kitchen, fireplace, and a serene screened porch, they provide a perfect blend of homely comfort and practicality. Located just 50 feet from the main campus, you're always close to the heart of our activities while enjoying your private retreat. Come and make yourself at home in our charming guest houses!

Our commitment to sustainable practices is a paramount pillar in our philosophy, deeply interwoven into the fabric of our organization. Usona makes ongoing efforts to champion these practices through thoughtful and efficient design and the implementation of sustainable technologies, such as:

Unique infrastructure design that allows for minimum waste when updating the distribution of services such as ventilation and electricity.
Mechanical shades to reduce cooling loads and solar glare.
Geothermal heating and cooling that reduces carbon emissions and is more energy efficient than conventional cooling.
Strong and durable materials that reduce maintenance and replacement needs, minimizing waste sent to landfills.
