Overview
North Star exists to answer a simple but urgent question: How do we build the psychedelic field with integrity?
As psychedelic therapies move from underground lineages to mainstream markets, the sector faces unprecedented ethical and structural challenges around power, profit, reciprocity, and safety.
Through the True North Guild, North Star convenes twenty pioneering organizations (clinics, training programs, benefit corporations, drug developers, and nonprofits) committed to shaping this field through shared best practices, values, transparency, and accountability. Together, these leaders are co-creating best practices across areas such as cultural respect, benefit-sharing, health access, intellectual property, and organizational governance.
Each month, the Guild meets virtually to learn, reflect, and build a culture of integrity. The nature of this work is deeply relational, vulnerable, and interdisciplinary and requires more than screens can hold. A multi-day, in-person convening is essential for the trust, synthesis, and collective intelligence that can only emerge through embodied presence.
